Specific Responsibilities Would Include
Centric Brands is seeking a Vice President of Sales for their beauty division. The Vice President will be responsible for driving strategies in order to maximize sales and margins, support and promote the brand(s), where appropriate, and maintain optimal relationships with customers.
Strategy:
- Implement strategic sales & financial plans to align with corporate goals.
- Build strong relationships & oversight of the team.
- Develop a network of external retailer contacts, sources and experts. Drive business with these customers & develop a deep understanding of retailer dynamics to identify how to grow business and white space opportunities.
- Provide recommendations on product/category/merchandising opportunities, competitive landscape, consumer demographics and localization opportunities to create points of difference across accounts.
Financial / Analytical:
- Develop the annual fiscal budget and monitor it in conjunction with finance.
- Responsible for achieving monthly sales budgets and profit objectives.
- Conduct and/or oversee all necessary economic assessment, financial valuation and other supporting analyses for specific opportunities.
- Owns overall P&L for accounts, maximizes ROI and ensures that spending is effective and within budget.
- Oversee promotional post-analysis by promotion/account for success rate, sell-in/sell-through and key learnings.
Communication:
- Attend licensor business updates and provide analysis of business.
- Represent company at trade shows to develop network and to promote product.
- Work w/ head of Division and Sales Planning to deliver retailer sku forecasts & inventory objectives and determine account level allocations (gift/promo & basic planograms).
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
- 10+ years Sales Leadership experience, preferable in the beauty or cpg industry.
- Experience working with mass market retailers, off-price, club stores, and food & drug.
- Proven ability to penetrate accounts at a high level within an organization.
- Strong leadership skills and management/supervisory experience.
- Strong relationship building and ability to negotiate skillfully with external groups.
- An understanding of current retailing trends.

Salary Range: $195,000 to $225,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
