Job Summary
Job Summary: The AD of Radiology will lead the overall management and administrative direction of all aspects of Radiology function. They will also be responsible in assisting in the analysis of the effectiveness of and establishes future direction for functional policies and programs of the Radiology operations.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement policies and procedures of the Radiology service line
- Leads the strategic planning and development of the overall strategic plan.
- Establishes performance goals and measures to evaluate success of assigned area of responsibility
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of assigned area including the supervisor of departmental employees. Provides guidance and direction to staff involved in department services and programs
- Coordinates, directs, and participates in the selection, training assignment, and evaluation of radiology department administrative staff; performs promotions, reassignments, discipline, and termination’s as needed
- Responsible for ensuring the all programs, activities, and series comply with the company
- Oversee internal approval process and timely processing of invoices received from office managers at all locations, and our India team
- Prepare and process check run for payables to vendors, independent contractors and employees as needed
- Responsible for daily filing of vendor invoices
- Performs other duties as assigned by the SVP
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Management or Health Care Administration strongly preferred
- 3- 5 years in a supervisory or management role
- Follows office procedures with regard to HIPAA documents and adheres to HIPAA privacy mandates; adheres to confidentiality policy; demonstrates infection control compliance relevant to job responsibilities: e.g. standard precautions
- Strong Problem Solving and Judgment
- Communicates effectively and clearly both verbally and in writing
- Builds and maintains constructive relationships
- Previous experience in Radiology or Similar Imaging, preferred Reg tech
