This position offers flexible hours and a hybrid schedule, with on-site work at OHSU’s South Waterfront and Marquam Hill campuses.

Function/Duties of Position
This Faculty Recruitment Associate provides employment operations support to the Knight Cancer Institute and Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology, with a primary focus on recruitment activities and administrative HR operations.
They will partner closely with the Knight Cancer Institute's Senior Faculty Recruiter, hiring managers, and leadership to deliver a seamless experience for both candidates and employees.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the full recruitment lifecycle by managing position request processes, scheduling candidate interviews and coordinating on-site visits;
- Supporting the sourcing and screening of applicants;
- Hosting and escorting candidates during on-site visits;
- Posting and updating job advertisements across OHSU's job portal and external sites;
- Providing administrative support for offers of employment;
- Tracking action items through meeting minutes.
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience
Relevant experience should include recruitment, sourcing, or talent acquisition.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Exemplary tact, discretion and diplomacy in dealing with sensitive issues and individuals at all levels
- Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills: both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at one time
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, while being collaborative in resolving problems
- Proficiency with computers running Windows and PC applications e.g. MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong proficiency in Outlook calendaring
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or related field
- Experience working in oncology
- Experience working at a healthcare or an academic institution
- Experience supporting Faculty, Physician or Advanced Practice Provider (APP) recruitment
- Recruitment or staffing experience proactively sourcing candidates for hard-to-fill positions
- Working knowledge of Smartsheet, Oracle, Discoverer, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Qualtrics and Pcard reconciliation
