Telemetry RNs focus on cardiac and vital sign monitoring using specialized equipment, requiring acute attention to arrhythmias and hemodynamic changes. This contrasts with general nursing by emphasizing rapid response to cardiac events and in-depth telemetry data interpretation, especially in acute-care environments.
