What You'll Be Doing
The Chief Boiler Engineer plays a key role in keeping things running smoothly at HUMC. This important position is responsible for a variety of functions including:
- Operates and monitors the Hospital’s Power Plant with regard to essential systems which provide Heating, Air Conditioning, and Steam.
- Maintains an efficient environment by measuring Fuel Levels. Performing sample analysis and safety testing.
- Uses specialized knowledge to determine preventive maintenance and equipment service needs.
- Maintains log and records as required.
- Any and all other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as industrial boiler operator.
- Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, DEP, EPA, and other applicable State and Federal Regulations including Safety.
Skills:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to interpret technical data
- 20/20 correctable vision
- Ability to operate Hospital Power Plant.
Education:
- High School Graduate. Black or Gold Boiler Operator seal
