This role focuses on delivering exceptional care to acutely ill patients while working collaboratively with a strong multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:• Provide comprehensive inpatient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment• Perform advanced procedures including:• Central line placement• Endotracheal intubation• Additional procedures based on credentialing• Manage admissions, daily rounds, and discharges• Ensure accurate and timely documentation• Participate in quality improvement, safety, and clinical best practices• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams
Qualifications
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with Acute Care NP certification (ACNP-BC or ACNPC-AG)• Active Illinois RN and APRN licenses (or ability to obtain)• Required: BLS & ACLS• Experience in acute inpatient settings preferred
