Position Summary
The Premium Clubs and Bar Supervisor assists the Bar Manager with the day-to-day operations of the bars, including staff, inventory, and increasing sales. Also attract customers by offering quality products and great customer service. They also ensure the bar operates smoothly and profitably throughout the season. Customer Service must be driven and passionate about the products and experiences we offer our guests. Keeping product knowledge to assist with staff coaching. They need to be able to take directions, communicate all responsibilities to staff and hold them accountable.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $24.10.

About the Venue
PayPal Park is the bay area's soccer specific stadium, home to the MLS San Jose Earthquakes and NWSL Bay FC. The stadium is located near San Jose Airport and seats approximately 18,000 fans.
Responsibilities
- Operating point of sale terminals to ensure proper sales, tracking of all products, and ensure correct cash handling procedures are followed
- Assisting management with daily and end of month inventory
- Staff management: assist with hire, training, and supervising bar staff
- Monitoring bar inventory, ingredients, rotating, and front facing all products
- Ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, or territorial liquor and food safety regulations
- Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and acting accordingly with such individuals.
- Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
- Communicate with all bar staff in a respectful manner as well making sure all staff follow all protocols and procedures
- Ensure high-quality customer service and resolve complaints
- Review paperwork, prepare for events, and manage the event timeline
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Ability to multi-task in multiple environments and take direction from various Supervisors.
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
- Possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit required by state and federal regulations.
- Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to product inventory and sales.
- Ability to speak, read and write in English.
- Minimum 2 years Bartender Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume bar/venue capacity.
- Minimum 1-year Supervisor/Lead Experience in the Food and Hospitality Industry
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
