Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an overnight Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2 at Florida's #1 rated hospital, Mayo Clinic, in Jacksonville, FL. The unit includes a 314 bed hospital, 35 OR suites, outpatient surgery and multiple diagnostic/procedural care units. Several clinical and administrative buildings are also located on this beautifully manicured 600-acre campus with ~2 million total cleanable square feet. The EVS Manager will oversee a team of housekeepers on the 3rd shift (approximate hours are 11PM-7AM), will report to the Operations Manager and oversee a team of approximately 45 frontline employees, some weekends and holidays are required.

What You'll Do

  • be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores
  • provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department
  • lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives
  • effectively manage the Unit Operating System
  • support a diverse and inclusive workforce
