Job Description
Monitor and review on all site accounting activities including account reconciliation, accounts receivable, and credit management. Also monitor operations systems and procedures and control features.
Rate per hour for this positon starts at $30.83and increases to $31.33 after 90days.
Responsibilities
- Clerk, General Cashier, Payroll, Income Audit, and Accounts Receivable
- Assist ADOF and Coordinate all on site accounting functions with the DOF. Act as liaison for all corporate accounting requests when ADOF is not available
- Work closely with all departments to come up with solutions to Systems & Controls problems.
- Assist in month end closings, forecasting and annual budget preparation.
- Ensure a timely month-end close.
- Produce accurate financial statements.
- Assist in attaining financial goals
- Prepare Balance Sheet analysis as directed by the Director of Finance.
- Focus on Food and Beverage Cost Controls
- Assist with maintenance of all daily filing of documents needed for research requests from guest and in-house users.
- Prepare timely and accurate sales, use and occupancy tax returns as well as any other external reports or returns as deemed necessary
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred.
- Proficiency in general ledger accounting including preparing, reading, interpreting and analyzing financial statements.
- Strong Excel skills required.
- Good verbal/written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
