Job Description

Omni Hotels in Providence is seeking a dynamic accounting generalist with a positive attitude, professional communication skills, possess strong accounting and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) billing and collection of Catering groups
- Assist the Director of Finance (DOF) with daily Ledger reviews and corrections for groups
- Maintain BirchStreet compliance
- Maintain Accounts Receivable (AR) Catering billing
- Assist the Assistant Director of Finance (ADOF) with Treasury workbook credit card reconciliations
- Be flexible and collaborate with the accounting team to cover vacation schedules as needed
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Data entry, document management, file creation, and previous records experience required
- Proven knowledge of accounting systems
- Deep understanding and working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
- Ability to effectively organize workspace and time
- Professionally communicate with individuals of all backgrounds and experiences.
- Previous accounting experience in a hotel or multi-department environment is highly preferred
