What You'll Be Doing
- Able to initiate and deliver critical care nursing to adult and geriatric patients.
- Identify, demonstrate and evaluate appropriate critical care nursing interventions utilizing the nursing process.
- Demonstrate ability to use equipment specific to the Critical Care Services.
- Respond to cardiopulmonary arrest (Code Blue), RRT and emergencies throughout the facility, performing functions of advanced cardiac life support, including defibrillation, transcutaneous pacing, documentation and supervision of the code team members.
What We're Looking For
$5000 sign-on bonus!
Full-time, Night shift, 7:00pm-7:30am, 12-hour shift. Rotating Weekend.
- Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN Preferred
- Previous critical care experience including but not limited to angioplasty, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, ICP, ECG interpretation, defibrillation, AICD, transcutaneous and transvenous pacing, physical assessments, transporting critically ill patients.
- Current New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
- Completion of a critical care course, CCRN preferred, completion of BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association), and IV certification.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A minimum of one (1) year RN experience is required to qualify for the sign-on bonus (*)
