Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.
Position Summary
The Food Services Worker will prepare meals including the main course, salads, desserts, etc. for the residents of Progress House. This individual will also assist the Food Service Manager and Assistant in the duties of the Progress House Kitchen.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- At least one (1) year food service or restaurant experience required
- Working knowledge of food borne illnesses
- Superior standards for cleanliness
- Excellent work ethic and ability to work without supervision
- Ability to read and follow a recipe
- Knowledge of 12 step recovery and Progress House function is helpful
