Job Summary and Responsibilities
Cardiovascular/Endovascular RN Coordinator
The Registered Nurse Coordinator in the Cardiovascular/Endovascular Suite is responsible for the comprehensive care of the surgical patient during the preoperative, intra-operative and immediate postoperative phases. This includes all activities, both technical and professional, that contribute to the safest perioperative course for the patient, as well as the most positive outcome possible. The Registered Nurse Coordinator also directs and coordinates the activities of other health team members in order to achieve this goal in addition; the Coordinator is involved in patient billing, supplies and auditing of procedures and charges.
Job Requirements
Required Education | Graduate of an accredited nursing program. |
Required Licensure and Certifications | Active RN License in the state of TN (or multi-state license). BLS.ACLS.National Certification required (the associate must obtain their certification within 6 months of hire date to retain employment of this position). |
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Completion of an accredited school of nursing program or diploma program as well at the ability to complete annual nursing skills and competency course. |
PREFERRED Qualifications | One year previous experience in surgery preferred. CNOR preferred. Endovascular experience. |
