The hotel will be directly connected to the Broward County Convention Center, immediately adjacent to Port Everglades cruise terminal and less than two miles from Fort Lauderdale Airport.

Be a part of the pre-opening team for the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel!
Opening Fall 2025, the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel, located at 1850 Eisenhower Blvd, and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel will also have over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views.
Ensure guests are welcomed to the restaurant from the time they walk through the door until the time they depart. Greet guests in a friendly, polite manner, be prompt and reliable and help your co-workers whenever possible.
Responsibilities
- To follow, enforce, comply, and adhere to all Bob’s Steak & Chop House rules, policies, procedures, standards, and recipes at all times.
- Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
- Answer phone and record reservations as requested using good judgement and precise timing.
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and wellbeing of guests.
- Seat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and placing clean menu in front of guest .
- Assist managers in opening and closing of the restaurant.
- Attend to and anticipate guest’s needs.
- Control heavy volume at restaurant entrance.
- Assist servers when needed.
- Familiarization with menu and knowledge of daily specials.
- Thank every guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewell.
- Knowledge of daily function sheet, in-house VIP's, current activities, hours of operation throughout the hotel, etc.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One year of experience in a similar position preferred.
- Fine dining, or steak house experience, preferred.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to multitask in a high-volume setting.
- Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
ENVIRONMENT & POSITION ANALYSIS:
- Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Requires repetitive motion.
- May work both indoors and outdoors.
