Responsibilities
Fellowship Structure & Learning Experience
This 1-year fellowship enhances therapists’ skills in advanced-level practice and prepares them for the AOTA Board Certification in Physical Rehabilitation (BCPR) exam.
Fellows will complete:
- Four 12-week rotations with clinical teams at our inpatient rehabilitation facility
- Four 1-week observational rotations across rehabilitation continuum of care.
- One 3 credit hours course from Texas Woman’s University’s School of Occupational Therapy (co-sponsor of the program)

Qualifications
- Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program (required)
- Valid TX Occupational Therapy License (required)
- American Heart Association BLS CPR (required within 30 days of employment)
- Candidates with 1 to 3 years’ experience highly desirable, six months of prior OT experience strongly preferred; relevant fieldwork experience in in-patient rehabilitation may be considered
