What You'll Do:
- Perform Core Imaging:Conduct radiographic and CT exams with precision, ensuring optimal patient positioning and the lowest possible radiation dose.
- Support Diagnostics:Provide radiologists with comprehensive patient histories and optimal images for accurate diagnoses.
- Ensure Safety & Quality:Master contrast material procedures, including consent, IV starts (with nursing), and appropriate reaction protocols. Contribute to department quality control and maintain state/federal accreditation standards.
- Patient-Centered Care:Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout their exam, from transport to completion.
- Operational Excellence:Manage image processing, proper coding, scheduling, and maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
- Team Collaboration:Share on-call duties, weekends, and holidays, fostering a supportive and flexible team environment.
