While a valid CNA license and CPR certification are mandatory, hospice CNAs in Wisconsin benefit from specialized training in hospice philosophy and end-of-life care. Some agencies may also require or prefer additional coursework in pain management and emotional support.
Waterford's aging population increases the need for hospice services, making hospice CNA positions moderately competitive. Local healthcare providers often seek compassionate CNAs, but shortages in hospice-trained aides can create opportunities for qualified applicants.
Adoration Home Health & Hospice fosters a supportive environment emphasizing teamwork and independence. CNAs enjoy flexible schedules and resources promoting work-life balance, which helps reduce burnout and enhances job satisfaction in hospice care.

Hospice CNAs in Waterford typically earn between $14 and $18 per hour, slightly above Wisconsin's average for nursing assistants due to specialized skills required. This pay reflects both the emotional demands and the vital nature of hospice care in the region.
The location at 735 Cornerstone Crossing is accessible via main roads connecting surrounding communities, making daily commutes manageable. However, traffic during peak hours can add time, so flexible scheduling options at Adoration help CNAs adjust their shifts accordingly.
While six months of experience is preferred, many hospice agencies in Waterford, including Adoration, provide practical training for motivated newcomers. This balance supports both experienced CNAs and those transitioning into hospice care, addressing local workforce needs.
