Join our team as a House Supervisor. The House Supervisor is responsible for coordination and direction of safe and efficient patient care and throughput in the hospital by providing a communication link with ED, patient registration, LIPs and nursing units. As a House Supervisor you will:
- Serve as clinical resource person in delivery and supervision of direct and indirect care processes.
- Provide competent leadership and direction for all hospital Codes and emergency management.
- Act as agent for department and hospital executives when they are not present and reports concerns and events to the designated administrator on call.
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Two years clinical RN experience required
- 1-year clinical leadership experience, preferred
- BSN required within 2 years of hire
- MSN preferred
- RN License to practice in Colorado or Kansas as applicable
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
- PALS or ENPC required upon hire or within three months of hire/transfer
- NRP required upon hire or within 3 months of hire/transfer
- TEAMS required upon hire or within 3 months of hire/transfer
- 5 years of clinical expereince in a criticla care setting
Physical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
