Job Summary:
TheRegisteredNurseIIpractices as a full partner on the multidisciplinary team. Independently plans, implements, and evaluates patient care and performs related duties as required. Assesses patient's needs fornursingcare, assures continuity of care through appropriate discharge planning, patient education and coordination of services, and acts as a patient and family advocate. Demonstrates and models the full range ofnursingprofessional practice in both patient care provided and in development of strategies to improve patient outcomes, satisfaction, and cost effectiveness at the unit level.
This patient population contains various levels of acuity requiring individualized care plans. Thisnursingteam is highly skilled in delivering care and bringing compassion to the care plan. Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma from an accredited nursing program
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable to the State of Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or obtained within 90 days of hire date
- Minimum one (1) year of RN experience
- Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Where You'll Work$20,000 SIGN ON BONUS for FULL TIME positions for RN candidates with over 1 year of experience. This is paid out in one lump sum in the paycheck after you’ve been employed by us for 30 days (contingent on meeting the requirements.)
Located just off Highway 59 south, the 66-bed hospital in Livingston provides more than 60,000 patient services each year, with half of those services being offered in the Level 4 Trauma-Designated Emergency Department. Services offered include, Orthopedic care, Women’s Services, and a state-of-the-art Sleep Center. Imaging services include MRI, CT scan, nuclear medicine scans, 4D Ultrasound, cardiac echocardiograms, fluoroscopy, bone density scanning and 3D mammography.
