Responsibilities
The Coordinator is responsible for gathering, reviewing, and approving internal billing claims; setup, verification and updating insurance account information; verifying eligibility; preparing related billing claims data reports; coordinates Medical billing claims submission via electronic data interface (EDI); functions as liaison with LA County- Dept. of Mental Health (LAC-DMH) and Medi-Cal; tracks and monitors billing claims and approval; provides monthly report analysis to Department Director assists in preparation for year-end final reports. Responsible for coordinating activities related to Electronic Health care (HER) application including user training, maintenance, application enhancement, develops new reports, and problem solving; functions as liaison with software vendor and lead trainer.

St. Francis Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $21.85 to $27.28. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
