Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Clinical Nutrition Manager position at Community Memorial Hospital, a 28-bed critical access hospital located in the beautiful village of Hamilton, NY. Community Memorial Hospital is located near Colgate University, an hour from Utica and Syracuse, NY. The selected candidate will oversee the clinical program at Community Memorial Hospital as well as Crouse Community Center, a nearby 120-bed skilled nursing facility. In this role, you will spend approx. 50% of your time providing direct patient care. This position is open to new or experienced candidates!

What You'll Do
- provide day-to-day management of the clinical nutrition program across two facilities;
- offer compassionate care to patients in the acute, subacute and long term care setting;
- train, mentor and supervise four diet techs and serve as a hands-on leader in the Food & Nutrition Department;
- support ongoing Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects;
- provide training and education to department staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals;
- collaborate with the food service operations team regarding meal provision and menu management; and
- ensure DOH/State/Federal and company standards are being upheld.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
