Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a RN on our campusfloat team at Good Samaritan Hospital, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between CHI Health and Dignity Health, you will bring your clinical expertise to provide exceptional patient care across multiple units. Your success in this role comes from your knowledge to provide care to various disease processes in a variety of situations ranging from minor to critical while being able to consistently remain calm and positive.
- Monitoring patients’ conditions and assessing their needs
- Collaborating with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
- Administering patients’ medications and providing treatments according to physicians’ orders
- Fostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
Compensation: Base rate + shift differential + 20% of base rate float pool differential
Incentives: up to $10,000 sign-on bonus, up to $10,000 education assistance (must have graduated within 5 years)

Job Requirements
- Graduate of an RN nursing program.
- Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska or nurse licensure compact.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association is required upon hire.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within 5 months of hire.

Established by the Sisters of the St. Francis in 1924, CHI Health Good Samaritan is a 268-bed regional referral center in Kearney, Nebraska. At CHI Health Good Samaritan, you’ll find an advanced level trauma center that also offers AirCare emergency helicopter transport and an ambulance program providing long distance and local 911 service. Among our many other services are cardiac care including open-heart surgery, a level II neonatal intensive care unit, a nationally accredited cancer center, comprehensive neurosurgery, advanced orthopedic program, and inpatient and outpatient mental health services at our free-standing Richard Young Behavioral Health facility.
