Responsibilities
The Regional Vice President of Communications and External Affairs is a corporate and regional executive leader responsible for the planning, development and execution of the organization's strategic communications and public relations to advance the mission and organizational goals through effective messaging, media relations, crisis communication, employee engagement, advocacy, and stakeholder outreach. This leadership position is one of the key representatives of Prime Healthcare with internal and external stakeholders. Works closely with Government Relations and is responsible for the development and deployment of all corporate communications, including investor related communications and presentations, media relations and PR/ community engagement activities for Prime Healthcare including internal and external communications, executive communications, PR and media relations, crisis communications, corporate advocacy, Prime Healthcare Foundation activities, online and social media strategy. This leader works with Corporate and Regional leadership and hospital leadership to advance the company’s mission and strategic goals. Working closely with Prime Executive Leadership, this position serves as the primary spokesperson for Prime Healthcare in the Region.

Prime Healthcare offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $165,000.00 to $190,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
