Responsibilities
Mobility Assistance Vehicle Technicians (MAVTs) are responsible for transporting private patients and patients from skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities who are wheelchair bound or who are ambulatory but need assistance via devices. MAVTs are responsible for the safe transport and care of these patients throughout the duration of an appointment, doctor's office, dialysis treatments, physical therapy and/or other medically needed reasons.
