Your responsibilities will also include accurately documenting patient information, administering ocular medications as prescribed, and assisting with in-office procedures—all within your scope of practice and training.

Job Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- High School diploma or equiavalent (GED)
- 1 year working in an optometry or ophthalmology practice required.
- Satisfactory completion of a formal certified ophthalmic technician program pursuant to the Division of Allied Health Professions or military training that is equivalent to an accredited certified ophthalmic technician program (determination by Dignity Health Medical Foundation HR department in conjunction with the State Division of Allied Health Professions.)
