Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in Chesterfield provide essential hands-on care in settings like senior living, focusing on direct resident care and supporting RN staff. Unlike RNs, LPNs often have a narrower scope but play a vital role in long-term care facilities, ensuring compliance with Missouri’s nursing regulations.
To work as an LPN in Missouri, candidates must hold an active, valid LPN license from the state board, completed an accredited practical nursing program, and pass the NCLEX-PN exam. Experience in long-term care or senior health is highly valued in Chesterfield healthcare settings.
LPNs in senior living should hone strong communication to liaise with families and physicians, develop empathy for elderly care, and be adept in medication administration and wound care. Flexibility and mentorship abilities enhance team dynamics and improve resident outcomes.
Tuteria provides LPNs with advanced pay options, financial literacy classes, tuition reimbursement, and exclusive perks through Tutera University. These benefits support professional growth and ensure nurses can maintain a balanced, rewarding career in Chesterfield’s healthcare market.

LPN salaries in Chesterfield typically range from $42,000 to $55,000 annually, depending on experience and setting. Positions at senior living facilities like Tuteria may offer competitive wages plus benefits, reflecting local market demand for skilled practical nurses.

Chesterfield has a steady demand for LPNs, especially in long-term care and senior living due to an aging population. While competition exists, candidates with specialized skills and local licensure tend to secure roles faster, benefiting from a supportive healthcare community.
LPNs at Tuteria may encounter fast-paced environments requiring multitasking between resident care, staff mentoring, and compliance documentation. Balancing compassionate care with regulatory adherence demands adaptability, effective communication, and resilience in senior healthcare settings.
A typical shift involves overseeing resident care, administering medications, supervising nursing aides, and collaborating with physicians. LPNs actively engage with families to ensure satisfaction while adhering to Missouri’s nursing standards, all within a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere.
