Schedule:
Monday- Friday 9am-530pm

Responsibilities
- Input patient data into a confidential website to fax letters to prescribers.
- Manages billing queues and reports, to identify missing documentation.
- Review pharmacy orders prior to billing to ensure all required documentation is obtained.
- Reconciles faxes between the pharmacy and prescribers.
- Organize, scan and electronically file documents.
- Release billing data to appropriate pharmacy staff for adjudication by transferring claims to the correct plan/department.
- Document notes in the pharmacy dispensing system that will help locate prescriptions.
- Communicates with physician’s office, nursing center personnel and other customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Familiar with HIPAA privacy regulations related to confidential medical data. Familiar with medical terms, abbreviations and diagnosis.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- Licenses/Certifications: As required by government regulations and business needs
- Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, oral communication.
