Industrial Electricians at Poly-West are responsible for the maintenance, installation, troubleshooting and modification of new and existing industrial equipment. This role will recommend and execute maintenance procedures. The Electrician will be working in a manufacturing maintenance team.
Qualifications
- Experience performing troubleshooting functions in a manufacturing environment.
- 2 + years of Industrial Maintenance experience with PLC’s preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Must be able to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks.
- The desire to expand knowledge and grow with the company.
- The ability to work a night shift or a day shift.
- Additional responsibilities and opportunities as they are assigned by management.

Responsibilities
Dismantling devices to gain access to remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, power tools, and safety lock-out devices.
Examining form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
Inspecting used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
Adjusting functioning parts of devices and control instruments.
Understanding of ladder logic and process instrumentation diagrams and the ability to diagnose communications issues through their use.
Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
Maintains, repairs, installs, and tests motors, drives, PLCs, relays, heaters, and other electrical components.
