Job Overview
Shriners Children’s Ohio has an opportunity for a full-time Pediatric RN to join our Inpatient Unit. In this unique role, you’ll provide compassionate, family-centered care to children requiring Med-Surg and ICU-level nursing—including those recovering from burns and complex craniofacial conditions.

Schedule:
Full-time, Night Shift
12-hour shifts with every third weekend rotation
What We’re Looking For:
Ohio RN license
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, ideally in pediatric, stepdown, or ICU/Med-Surg settings
Passion for caring for children and their families

Responsibilities
- The Inpatient RN is responsible for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care in a collaborative, family-centered environment.
- The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family.
- This position will provide leadership by acting as an informal and formal leader, preceptor and through quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications
Required:
- BSN degree or in process
- Ohio RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred:
- 2+ years bedside RN experience (will consider new grads)
- Pediatric and ICU experience
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
