TradeWinds features two destination resorts just 200 flip flops from one another along the gorgeous Gulf Coast on St. Pete Beach. Guest Room Attendants at TradeWinds Resorts are responsible for the cleanliness of nearly 800 Guest rooms at two properties. Our Guests have high expectations that are consistently exceeded due in part to the high standards of TradeWinds' Housekeeping Team. A strong work ethic and commitment to service are key foundations for successful candidates. The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests.Responsibilities
- 1-2 years housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort setting is strongly preferred
- Thoroughly clean Guestrooms according to standards.
- Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including but not limited to, Guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
- Remove all trash and dirty linen from Guestrooms.
- Handle items for “Lost and Found” according to the standards.
- Ensure overall Guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
- Must be able to work in Florida's hot climate for 8 hours or more.
- Open availability as weekends and holidays are our busiest times.
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
