Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Therapist provides patient care, including evaluating the patient for treatment, providing and directing administration of the care plan upon the referral from the physician. Consults with other health care disciplines to coordinate therapeutic programs and discharge planning for individual patients. Instructs patients and caregivers in home program exercises and functional activities. Assists with patient program management, while delivering quality patient services.
Job Requirements
Minimum
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting
Licensed to practice occupational therapy in the state of Arizona - OT:AZ
- Certified Lymphedema Therapist (LTC) - within 6 months * or we will consider a Licensed OT who wants to go through the training to obtain the LTC certification within 6 months of hire
American Heart Association Basic Life Support
Computer skills
Preferred
2 years progressive experience in clinical area, performing patient clinical care
Experienced use of electronic health record
