Position Summary:
Responsible for protecting the safety of swimmers at Fort Sanders Health & Fitness Center.

Responsibilities
- Practices preventative life guarding at the pools at Fort Sanders Health & Fitness Center.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the pools and surrounding areas including controlling chemical balancing and light maintenance.
- Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
- Performs other duties as requested.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
Minimum Experience:
One (1) year experience in life guarding preferred.
Licensure Requirement:
Must have and maintain lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
