Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Nutrition Manager to oversee the operations of the Nutrition Lab at the Children's Hospital at Erlanger. This role will be involved in developing procedures and protocols, managing inventory, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and providing clinical coverage in the NICU as needed. The position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to improve nutrition strategies and patient outcomes.

What You'll Do
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Nutrition Lab, including ordering products and managing inventory
- Ensure formula storage, preparation, and delivery meet quality and safety standards
- Direct the activities of technicians, including hiring, training, scheduling, and competency assessments
- Manage the Timeless barcoding system and manual downtime product labeling procedures
- Act as a liaison between the Nutrition Lab, clinical nutrition, and healthcare professionals to communicate changes and address concerns
- Participate in NICU nutrition committees and quality improvement projects, including data collection and presentation
- Stay current with scientific literature to support the clinical nutrition team and educate patients and families on nutrition strategies
- Provide clinical coverage in the NICU during staff shortages or as needed

What You Bring
- Registered Dietitian credential with a minimum of three years of progressive clinical nutrition experience in pediatrics, including NICU
- Staff management or leadership experience is strongly preferred
- Specialized certification (e.g., CSP, CNSC, CLC, IBCLC) is preferred
- License as a dietitian in the state of TN or the ability to obtain
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Minimum Management Experience: At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years as experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners
