Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at CHI Lisbon Health, you will provide compassionate nursing care to our residents, under the direction of a physician or Registered Nurse. Every day, you will assess resident needs and deliver essential physical or psychosocial care. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of those we serve.
What You'll Do:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and directed by RNs.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and resident responses.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
- Perform wound care, catheter care, and other nursing procedures.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of resident care, conditions, and observations.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Respond promptly to resident needs and assist in emergent situations.
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses and other staff to develop and implement care plans.
- Graduate of accredted school of nursing.
- Licensed Practical Nurse issued by the state of North Dakota (LPN:ND)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Assocation.
