Gilbane is seeking a Senior MEP Professional to be responsible for originating and leading all MEP processes, generally on a single project.
This role is primarily on-site each day with occassional travel to our Atlanta office for meetings, training, etc.

Responsibilities
- Originates MEP Scopes of Work and participates in scope review meetings
- Originates MEP installation and commissioning activities within the Project Schedule
- Trains others on MEP systems
- Determines the MEP subcontracting strategies for a project
- Develops MEP bid package schedule with input from the design team and owner
- Tracks progress of the MEP coordination process and ensures the deliverable meets contract requirements
- Coaches and mentors less experienced team members
- Supports a positive and inclusive work environment
- Collaborates closely with business development to ensure seamless integration with sales strategies including performance metrics on your assigned projects, pursuits, and client deliverables. Actively participates in opportunities to strengthen client, partner, and industry relationships that position Gilbane as the “Builder of Choice”
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5-10 years of experience
- OSHA 30 hour certified
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Ability to lead in a team environment and manage project subcontractors
- Strong technical expertise and leadership for the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to lead the commissioning process
- Knowledge of the BIM Coordination and 3D modeling process
- Ability to adapt to changing needs by utilizing excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of risk management
- Strong knowledge and appreciation of construction safety processes and ability to enforce the project safety plan
