Position Summary
The Pollstar Live! Ambassador will assist Oak View Group’s Media & Conferences team in preparing and executing Pollstar Live! 2026. This temporary, part-time position offers hands-on experience in event and conference management within the live entertainment industry, with exposure to multiple functional areas including operations, sponsorship, marketing, and programming.This is a temporaray part-time role from April 13, 2026 and will end on April 16, 2026.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $17.05.
This position will remain open until March 6, 2026
Responsibilities
- Assist attendees with purchasing and picking up conference credentials.
- Provide accurate information on sessions, schedules, and venue locations.
- Verify and scan attendee badges for entry and exit in panel rooms.
- Support setup and maintenance of panel rooms, ensuring panelist and speaker needs are met.
- Assist with conference load-in and load-out logistics.
- Serve as a first point of contact for attendee inquiries and issues, escalating concerns to senior staff as needed.
- Support the Sponsorship and Marketing teams by:
- Assisting with sponsor activations, signage placement, and brand visibility checks.
- Supporting on-site marketing initiatives such as social content capture and photo ops.
- Collaborate with the events team on room transitions, speaker coordination, and session timing.
- Provide flexible, on-call support to other departments to ensure smooth conference execution.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate information to attendees, panelists, and staff.
- They should be professional, adaptable, enthusiastic, and able to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
- Candidates should feel comfortable interacting with a diverse range of individuals and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Foundational knowledge or an interest in the live entertainment, events, or media industries is preferred.
- Availability for all Pollstar Live! 2026 event days and pre-event training sessions is required.
