Responsibilities
The Radiology Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process. The Radiology Registered Nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Radiology Nurse works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinarily team and is responsible for providing the highest quality nursing care and service excellence in the continuum of care. The Radiology Registered Nurse works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness. Responsible for adherence to regulations, standards and hospital or unit policies and procedures and participation in Performance Improvement activities, department meetings and in-services. Acts as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state RN License.
2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Current ACLS Certification 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
4. Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) preferred.
5. One (1) year of acute clinical Radiology Nursing experience preferred.
6. Ventilator Management experience preferred.
7. Conscious Sedation Monitoring competency within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Pay Transparency
Resurrection Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $43.00 to $43.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
