Position Summary
We are currently seeking individuals who are seeking part time work and will be responsible for participating in set-up and clean-up activities for events and general maintenance at Tony's Pizza Events Center.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $13.00-$14.00

This position will remain open until Deember 31, 2025.
About the Venue
The TONY'S® Pizza Events Center, located in Salina, Kansas is composed of a newly renovated 6,500+ seat multipurpose arena and the Great Plains Manufacturing Convention Hall, an 18,000 square foot convention space. Nicknamed Mid-America's Meeting Place, the Tony's Pizza Events Center provides central Kansas a place to meet, play and experience events that enhance living-in and visiting the City of Salina.
The City of Salina is the primary owner of the Tony's Pizza Events Center. OVG360 manages the Tony's Pizza Events Center as well as hundreds other public assembly facilities around the world.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor, repairs and maintenance on various aspects of the arena as assigned.
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Primary duties include building conversions for various events
- Setup and breakdown of chairs, tables, other event seating, stages, basketball court, and football field, etc.
- Actively care for all arena equipment and property by storing equipment properly, cleaning and repairing broken or damaged items and alerting management of any mistreatment of property
- Maintain organized storage areas
- Perform lawn maintenance such as mowing lawns, pulling weeds and trimming trees
- Perform snow removal tasks such as shovel sidewalks, parking areas, entrance ways and loading dock
- Additional duties may be assigned by Operations Manager or Director of Operations
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible shifts based on events and building needs including days, nights, weekends and some Holidays as needed
- Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions and directions.
- Ability to perform general labor; frequent lifting (some heavy)
- Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language
- Possession of, or ability to obtain a forklift certification preferred. (we will train)
- Ability to take direction
