Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality food in a timely and efficient manner
- Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner
- Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work
- Maintain compliance to regulatory requirements for safe food handling, by following sanitation, infection control, risk management guidelines and HACCP plan.
- Completes cleaning duties, pulling trash, sweeping, mopping
- Assist patients in completing menu selections, offering alternative menu in accordance with food allergies, food sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
- Update and validate diet changes in the patient diet management system, prints and distributes reports, tallies, menus and meal tickets.
- Stock nourishment rooms and assist with kitchen stocking
- Perform cafeteria duties as assigned including serving, grilling, stocking, cleaning and cash handling.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Food Handlers Card
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling
- Healthcare/restaurant experience
- Commitment to customer service
- Willingness to perform routine tasks and effectively work alongside the culinary team and leaders
