We currently have an opening for a prn (as needed) Facilities Technician to cover our Lakeway Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital for on call and weekend hours. Our hospital is located in Lakeway Texas in the scenic hill country on the southern shores of Lake Travis. Lakeway is a resort community about 25 miles west of downtown Austin. The city offers an outdoor lifestyle with a 65 mile long lake, golf courses, tennis courts, marinas, a private airport, 100 acres of parkland hiking and biking trails, and nearly 500 acres of greenbelts.
Responsibilities
A Facilities Technician performs general mechanical and preventive tasks. Inspects, services, dry wall repair, painting, and overhauls physical plant equipment as directed. Duties are performed in relation with patient and employee safety. Enhances the patient/employee experience by maintaining and improving the environment.
Qualifications
1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Trade or vocational school background preferred.2. Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance, repair, and safety procedures required.
3. Current and valid state Driver License required.
4. 10 years in facility maintenance preferred.
