- Assisting patients with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
- Monitoring and documenting patient behavior, vital signs, and progress.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Providing emotional support and encouragement to patients.
- Collaborating effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
This position is represented by SEIU UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement
Job Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent required.
- At least one (1) year of experience as a California Nursing Assistant required.
- Minimum of one (1) year mental health worker experience working with psychiatric patients, either in an inpatient or residential setting required.
- California Nursing Assistant certification required.
- Current AHA BLS card required.
- LA City Fire Safety card required within 90 days of hire required.
Preferred:
- Acute care facility experience preferred.
