Responsibilities
In collaboration with the Director or General Manager, oversees the daily operations of hospital patient foodservice functions, ensuring that services such as meal delivery, order taking and related functions meet the highest standards of quality, safety and patient satisfaction. The role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, manages staff performance and serves as a liaison between patients, clinical staff and the food and nutrition team.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or nutrition preferred.
2. Food Safety Certification from an accredited organization upon hire and maintain current.
3. Two (2) years experience in food service operations.
4. Ability to use PC.
5. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR) preferred.
County Specific requirement.
1. County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current.
