Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GYN Medical Director to join our team. As the GYN Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all medical aspects of our GYN department. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
Duties:
- Provide medical leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services
- Develop and implement medical policies, procedures, and protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Oversee utilization management activities to ensure appropriate use of resources
- Conduct medical reviews and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Stay up-to-date with FDA regulations and industry trends in clinical research and development
- Participate in clinical research activities and contribute to the development of new treatment protocols
- Provide guidance on critical care management and complex medical cases
- Collaborate with healthcare management team to develop strategies for improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of medical management principles and GYN practices
- Proficient in critical care medicine and anatomy systems
- Familiarity with FDA regulations related to clinical research and development
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Gynecology
- Active medical license in the state of NY
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a leadership role
Salary: $250,000-$350,000
