This flexibility is ideal for those balancing other commitments while maintaining consistent clinical experience across multiple facilities near Burlington.

Applicants must possess a current Vermont LNA license active on the state nurse aide registry without any disciplinary findings. Additionally, two years of clinical experience and a clean record regarding resident care are essential for eligibility in this role.

Elderwood emphasizes a mission-driven culture focused on integrity and teamwork, providing on-site training, premium shift differentials up to $3/hour, and career advancement opportunities. Their extensive network offers exposure to diverse clinical settings unmatched by smaller agencies.

Elderwood offers a clear path for promotion, preferred status for internal openings, and continuous training. Float pool LNAs gain valuable cross-location experience, enhancing clinical competencies and increasing eligibility for advanced nursing roles within the organization.

The posted hourly wage is $22.50, with potential premium pay including shift differentials up to $3.00/hr depending on shift timing. This competitive pay aligns with regional standards for certified nursing assistant roles in Burlington’s healthcare market.

Given Elderwood’s spread across Western New York and Vermont, commuting may require planning for variable travel times. However, the float pool model’s flexible scheduling allows LNAs to select shifts that minimize travel strain while maximizing clinical exposure.

Burlington's healthcare sector has sustained demand for qualified LNAs due to an aging population. Float pool positions tend to attract experienced CNAs seeking scheduling flexibility, making competition moderate but favorable for those with Vermont certification and clinical experience.

Float pool LNAs must demonstrate adaptability to diverse care environments, strong communication skills for interdisciplinary teamwork, and physical stamina. Their ability to quickly acclimate to new patient populations and facility protocols sets them apart from fixed-location assistants.

Post Acute Partners leverages LNAs in float pools to maintain staffing agility across multiple care locations. This approach ensures consistent high-quality care, offers LNAs varied clinical experiences, and supports facilities during peak demand or staffing shortages efficiently.
