Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will be a vital pillar of our care team, significantly impacting patient well-being through direct support and seamless coordination.
Every day, you will actively collaborate on comprehensive screenings, assist with clinical procedures, provide essential health education, and expertly manage administrative tasks, leveraging technology to coordinate care for diverse patient populations. You will ensure patients feel at ease, patiently explaining instructions and addressing their concerns.
To be successful in this role, you will possess strong clinical knowledge, technological fluency, genuine compassion for patient well-being, and an adaptable spirit keen on continuous learning and collaborative teamwork.
- Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
- Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
- Obtain and record vital signs including but not limited to, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem.
- May be required to collect urine drug specimens, draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Administer ordered medications and /or vaccines via oral, injection, topically, rectal, ophthalmic, and /or nasal administration.
- May perform routine tests including but not limited to EKGs.

- High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or
- High School GED General Studies, upon hire and
- graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, upon hire or
- Certified Medical Assistant AAMA, upon hire or
- Certified Medical Assistant NHA, upon hire or
- National Certified Medical Assistant NCCT, upon hire or
- National Registered/Certified Medical Assistant NAHP, upon hire or
- Registered Medical Assistant AMT, upon hire or
- Registered Medical Assistant, upon hire or
- Cert Med Asst - MMCI, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
- Two year medical assistant experience
