Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services, Custodial Manager 2 for UT Health Tyler located in Tyler, TX. UT Health Tyler is uniquely positioned to provide patients with access to cutting edge research and clinical therapies while training and educating the next generation of physicians and other health professionals.
We're looking a manager with an inner fire to hunt down and delegate the removal of dust and debris from areas unoccupied during the evening shift. Your work will keep the patients of a 400-bed hospital safer while enhancing their perception of the facility. The manager will have the ability to organize cleanliness findings, empower frontline members, and then verify quality of work, which is the core factor of success for this role
What You'll Do
- be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores;
- provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department;
- lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives;
- effectively manage the Unit Operating System; and/or
- support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

- experience leading, training and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service delivery;
- strong customer service and/or guest satisfaction in a healthcare / hospital environment;
- strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently to drive programs and compliance;
- experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines;
- a results and safety-driven mindset.
- bi-lingual with the ability to speak Spanish is helpful but not required.
- ability to work early a second shift (Monday - Friday) w/ occasional weekend & holiday rotation
