Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our PACU Nurse at CHI St. Vincent North, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, you’ll apply your nursing knowledge and skills in the recovery room and it doesn’t stop there
Most patients never realize the part you played in getting them through one of their most vulnerable moments. Honoring your commitment to care for others is thanks enough. Our leadership is visible and the hospital is expanding its services. Call is required and is based on shift and patient volume
- Apply cultural sensitivity to all patients, caregivers, and teams
- Develop and implement a nursing care plan for PACU patients
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure rooms are prepped with necessary equipment and supplies
- Demonstrate kindness and compassion
We are offering a $25,000 Sign On Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
Job Requirements
Required:
- Associates Degree In Nursing
- 1 Year of RN Experience in an acute care setting
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the State of Arkansas
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire
- Must be able to participate in a rotating call schedule with the ability to report to work within 30 minutes of call.
Preferred:
- Experience in Operating Room or PACU
