How you make a difference
The Psychologist/Program Director is a licensed Psychologist tasked with overseeing the operations of the Restoration to Competency (RTC) program and serving as the primary evaluator for competency restoration of approximately 5 patients. They will provide supervision to a small team, act as the main liaison for RTC stakeholders (Sheriff's Office, courts, etc.), monitor program outcomes and compliance with policies and procedures, and conduct all competency assessments under the guidance of the Health Services Administrator or Program Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and ensure program compliance with county and company policies and procedures.
- Act as the primary liaison with RTC partners, such as the Sheriff's Office and local courts.
- Manage personnel and conduct audits to ensure program adherence.
- Lead Treatment Team meetings and review patient Treatment Plans.
- Administer psychological assessments and adhere to reporting requirements for the court.
- Collaborate with the Sheriff's Office team, provide clinical support, and foster supportive relationships with staff and Sheriff's Deputies/Officers.

Education
- PhD or PsyD with Licensure as Psychologist in state of employment.
Experience
- One + years of experience as a licensed Psychologist in the state of employment.
- Previous correctional/detention facility experience
Licenses/Certifications
- Licensure as Psychologist in state of employment
- Current (and must maintain) lifesaving BLS certification through AHA
Compliance
- Must obtain and maintain security clearance throughout the course of employment.
- Must pass background investigation conducted by the Company and/or Facility as a requisite for initial and or continued employment.
- May be required to undergo reasonable suspicion testing for being under the influence of controlled substances, including prescription, legal, and illegal substances, including marijuana.
- Must undergo security training and orientation on Facility Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Must follow county facility policies and procedures.
