What You'll Do:
As an LPN at CHI Mercy Health Valley City, you will be an integral part of our patient care team, providing direct care to a diverse patient population. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering Direct Patient Care: Provide hands-on patient care to patients across various needs, ensuring comfort, safety, and a positive experience.
- Following Treatment Plans: Possess and/or actively seek the knowledge required to meticulously follow medical and nursing plans of treatment and care for each patient.
- Performing Assessments & Treatments: Conduct patient assessments, perform various procedures, and administer treatments accurately and efficiently under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Accurate Reporting & Documentation: Maintain precise and timely documentation of all patient observations, care provided, and any changes in patient condition.
- Ensuring Safe & Confidential Care: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and maintain the utmost confidentiality of patient information at all times.
- Collaborating with the Team: Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, communicating essential patient information and contributing to a cohesive patient care environment.
- Continuous Learning: Remain current with best practices in nursing care and actively participate in professional development opportunities.
- Graduate of an accredit school of practical nursing.
- Licensed Practical Nurse: ND (LPN:ND)
- Basic Life Support - (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
