Specific Responsibilities Would Include
Centric Brands is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our Kids Division, with a focus on supporting the Under Armour Kids brand and driving business with Belk and Macy’s. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and make an impact on a dynamic sales team. You’ll work closely with the Sr. Director of Planning and the Senior Vice President of Sales to drive revenue, support product strategies, and strengthen customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations & Account Management
Manage day-to-day account activities for Belk and Macy’s, ensuring accurate and timely order entry, distribution, and deliveries.
Partner with Customer Service to resolve shipping delays, pricing discrepancies, and order extensions.
Lead weekly selling meetings to review performance, highlight business trends, and provide actionable insights.
Maintain, track, and organize samples for market; oversee showroom setup and meeting coordination.
Prepare line sheets, assortments, and market presentations by classification, material, and delivery window.
Support new business opportunities within existing accounts and prospect potential growth areas.
Collaborate with Planning on replenishment programs and inventory flow.
Strategic Planning & Business Development
Work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute strategies that drive sales, margin growth, and brand positioning.
Maximize in-season sales through inventory management, reorders, and product placement strategies.
Conduct competitive research and trend analysis, sharing insights to inform design, merchandising, and sales strategies.
Contribute to long-term growth initiatives by analyzing market opportunities and identifying potential expansion strategies.
Customer Relationships & Communication
Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and decision-makers at Belk and Macy’s.
Serve as the primary liaison between accounts and internal teams (Sales, Design, Planning, Production).
Anticipate customer needs and provide proactive, solutions-oriented communication to ensure best-in-class service.
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field preferred.
2–4 years of wholesale sales experience, preferably within kidswear, activewear, or mid-tier retail channels.
Strong understanding of retail math, sales reporting, and inventory management.
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, v-lookups, pivot tables) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ERP system knowledge a plus.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a customer-first mindset.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical thinker with proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Team-oriented, collaborative, and motivated to contribute to both short-term wins and long-term brand growth.

Salary Range: $80,000-100,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
